• BUILT-IN RIAA MM PHONO PREAMP: A moving-magnet phono stage is built in, so the TT MK2 connects directly to any amplifier or pair of active speakers. No separate phono box, no extra power supply, no hunting for an amplifier with a phono input. For a first turntable this removes the single most common obstacle between unpacking a record player and hearing a record.
• CARTRIDGE PRE-FITTED AND ALIGNED: A moving-magnet cartridge arrives already mounted and aligned at the factory, tuned for a warm, musical presentation rather than a clinical one. Cartridge alignment is fiddly and easy to get wrong here it is done. Nothing to mount, nothing to measure, nothing extra to buy.
• BELT DRIVE, ALUMINIUM PLATTER, MDF PLINTH: Belt drive isolates the motor from the platter so its vibration never reaches the stylus, the reason serious turntables use it rather than direct drive. An aluminium platter adds rotating mass for stable speed, and the MDF plinth damps what is left. 4.5 kg of turntable holding the record still.
• 33 AND 45 RPM, NO ADAPTER NEEDED: Both standard speeds are supported, so LPs and seven-inch singles play without a workaround. Signal-to-noise ratio of 55 dB.
• EVERYTHING IN THE BOX, ENGINEERED IN DENMARK: Ships with a dust cover, a 1.5 m power supply and a 1.0 m RCA cable, nothing else is needed to play a record the day it arrives. The Argon Audio TT MK2 is a belt-drive turntable designed for easy, plug-and-play vinyl listening. Its built-in RIAA MM phono preamp allows direct connection to any amplifier or active speaker without requiring an external phono stage. Fitted with an Audio-Technica AT3600L moving magnet cartridge, it delivers warm, musical vinyl playback straight from the box.
