Product Description

Crompton 12W Emergency LED Bulb is a rechargeable backup lamp with a standard B22 pin base, designed for Indian homes that face frequent power cuts. Fit it into any existing B22 holder and it works as a regular LED bulb on mains supply; the moment power goes off, the bulb automatically switches to battery mode and continues to light the room for up to 4 hours, as long as the wall switch is left ON. Backup is delivered by an in-built 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery, which offers a longer usable life than conventional battery types and recharges on its own whenever mains power is restored. On normal supply the lamp delivers a lumen efficacy of 100 lumens per watt in Cool Day Light, spreading even illumination across the room, and it operates across a wide 170-270V input range so it keeps performing through voltage fluctuation, with surge protection of up to 4kV. A protection shield guards against overcharge, deep discharge and short circuit for safer, longer service. The light is free of harmful UV and IR emission and is glare-free, making it comfortable for reading, studying or working. Suited to bedrooms, kitchens, staircases, shops, hostels and rented accommodation, and useful as a low-cost alternative to an inverter for basic lighting. Supplied as a pack of 8, making it suited to fitting out a full home, hostel, PG accommodation, shop or small office in one purchase. Covered by one year manufacturer's warranty. Wipe the bulb with a dry cloth only; do not immerse in water or use in wet locations. Rated backup brightness is lower than mains brightness by design, which is what allows the battery to last the full backup duration.
