The fabric is a 275 GSM three-layer weave with a black yarn locked into the middle layer, so it blocks up to 90% of incoming light on the dark shades and a little less on the pale ones - and that is exactly what we print. There is no white plastic lining stuck to the back: the reverse side stays colour-matched to the face, not the dark back you get on 100% blackout curtains, and nothing peels off in the wash. Each panel measures 114.3 cm (45 inches) wide and finishes in a stitched 1-inch bottom hem. Two panels dress a rod of roughly 5 to 5.5 feet with a full gathered fall, so please measure your rod before you order. Every panel carries 8 grommet rings (1.6 inch inner diameter) that slide onto a standard rod in under a minute - no separate hooks and no extra stitching needed to hang them.
