Keep filtered alkaline water conveniently chilled and ready to dispense with the OPTI Chill. This reusable BPA-free 2-gallon water filtration system is designed to fit on most refrigerator shelves and can also be used on a kitchen countertop. OPTI’s advanced ionic filtration technology reduces up to 99.99% of select contaminants, including lead, chlorine, PFAS, microplastics, and heavy metals. The system also helps retain beneficial trace minerals while naturally enhancing water alkalinity up to pH 9.0. The included filter processes up to 120 gallons of water and typically lasts approximately 2 to 3 months, depending on household use and incoming water quality. Gravity filtration processes approximately 1 gallon every 1 to 1.5 hours, providing increased contact time between the water and filtration media. No plumbing, electricity, or complicated installation is required. Prime the filter, install it in the upper reservoir, add chlorinated municipal tap water, and allow gravity to complete the filtration process. Approximately 1 inch of water may remain in the upper reservoir to keep the filter in contact with water. This is part of the unit’s normal operation.
