Product Description
Alkaline water filters serve a dual purpose. Firstly, they filter the water coming into them to remove impurities and debris that could be hazardous. They do this by chemically changing the water so the smaller H2O molecules of alkaline water are passed through. The acidic water is routed elsewhere. Secondly, they add healthy essential minerals back into the water stream. Often, these get removed during the filtering process. Potassium, magnesium, and calcium are the essential minerals that are added back in. This brings your water back to a perfect pH9 level. Don’t confuse these with a different alkaline machine called an ionizer. These simply separate alkaline and acidic water as the stream comes into the filter. They don’t add any minerals afterwards.
