• ISO 9001:2015 certified & BARC licensed nanofiltration TFC dry Membrane Element (NF Membrane) 100 gpd, pore size 0.0005 micron, retains minerals up to 41% in water naturally, Reduces TDS 65%, (± 6%), service life around 15,000 ltrs, flux rate around 25 ltrs per/hr. The membrane eliminates all ipurities, germs and contaminanst and flushes them through rejected water. Please note that membrane flow rate and TDS may fluctuate depending on the raw water temperature. The results stated above were recorded at a raw water temperature of 23 °C. If the raw water temperature decreases below 23 °C, the membrane flow rate will decrease proportionately.
• KNL Sediment candle (Pore size 5 micron absolute): captures clay, silt, sand, loose scale and other impurities. The filter made from polypropylene and fine sediment cloths, first layer polypropylene & upper layer fine sediment cloths. The filter properly sealed inside in manner so that the water bound to pass only after proper filtration and then goes to the remaining filters.
• KNL Activated carbon block filter 1000 IV, having high absorption rate of herbicides, toxicity, pesticides, chlorine and other impurities. Activated carbon is made on high temperature by passing esteem & then converted to block filter. The cartridge will not release black water initially like other normal filter. • KNL activated post carbon (100% coconut shell) cartridge inbuilt inside in two parts. First half part filled tightly with coconut activated carbon granules & the other half part inbuilt in UF filter. Therefore the post carbon filter serves the dual purpose of post carbon and UF membrane together. The coconut carbon removes odor, smell & inhibits the bacterial growth and enhances water taste.

Compatible with 100 GPD pump, working pressure 80 PSI & FR 450 CC. Pump pressure and inline filters health should be in order else the result may not satisfactory.
• The working pressure should be 80-90 PSI, inlet pressure 5 psi to 10 PSI, in case of high rise or high inlet pressure, users are requested to use PRV else the membrane will get damage early. Always use new FR 450 with the membrane, partial blocked FR may lead unsatisfactory result.
• Contaminants molecule size remain greater than 0.01 microns, germs size from 0.027 microns to 5 microns, water molecule size is 0.000283 microns, dissolve compositions of mineral molecule size remain less than 0.0009 microns, but all NF Membrane pore sizes are 0.0015, 0.0010, 0.0005, 0.0002 microns & RO membrane pore size is 0.0001 microns, therefore the NF Membrane & Ro membrane does the job far better than the UV and TDS controller system.
• The working pressure should be 80-90 PSI, inlet pressure 2 psi, in case of high rise or high inlet pressure, users are requested to use PRV else the membrane will get damage early. Always use new FR 450 with the membrane, partial blocked FR may lead unsatisfactory result.
• Installation guidelines: Before inserting new membrane, make sure the membrane housing is clean else loose particles led to blockage of FR. The KNL membrane need to flush for 30-40 minutes and then check the result. Water taste with more TDS may some people feel hard compare to RO water or normal bottle packed water but medically healthy to intake mineral enriched drinking water. Always use new FR 450 with the membrane, partial blocked FR or if used in reverse order the membrane will get damage early/immediately.

Product Description

Nano Filtration Membrane (NF Membrane), 100 GPD, TFC, Dry, ISO certified 9001:2015 & BARC licensed product, pore size is 0.0005 micron, Flux Rate around 25 ltrs/hr, Reduces TDS 65%, (± 6%) and maintains minerals in purified water up to 41% naturally. The membrane is suitable for moderate hard water having TDS between 300 ppm to 600 ppm maximum. As per WHO, BIS and EPA, the drinking water TDS between 100 ppm to 300 ppm remain in excellent condition. But water taste may vary a little from 100 ppm to 300 ppm. After using the membrane, no need to use TDS Adjuster/Controller that allows impurities in drinking water and UV Lamp too (basically radiation being used to deactivate microbes DNA in drinking water). Please note water born microbes and virus lies between of 0.027 micron to 5 micron and the membrane pore size is 0.0005 micron that ensures 100% elimination of germs/virus, herbicides, pesticides, toxicity, fluoride, cyanide, arsenic etc from drinking water and flushes those impurities through rejected water. KNL sediment filter (5 micron absolute) is made from sediment cloth and polypropylene combinations in two layers; the two end of wound string has been sealed properly to ensure the elimination of all micro particles. Activated carbon block filter 1000 IV having very high absorption rate of pesticide, herbicides, chlorine, harmful impurities and other toxic elements and therefore absorbs all the harmful chemical and impurities from drinking water and supply chlorine free water to membrane and therefore TFC membrane life enhances. The Coconut Shell activated post carbon (final stage of purification) made from coconut shell and 4.5 inches UF filter inside in combination, therefore the filter serves dual purpose of post carbon & UF filter too. Activated coconut shell carbon is antibacterial agent and therefore inhibits the bacterial growth, removes smell, odor etc from drinking water. Please flush for 30 minutes and then check the result.
