About this item

• ISO 9001:2015 certified & BARC licensed Nanofiltration Membrane Element (NF Membrane) 100 gpd, pore size 0.001 micron, retains up to 60% minerals in drinking water naturally, suitable for the feed water having TDS between 200 ppm to 350 ppm. Flux rate around 25 ltrs/hr & rejections rate between 40% to 50%. The result may vary a little on other factors. Water wastage is very less comparing to RO membrane. Please note that membrane flow rate and TDS may fluctuate depending on the raw water temperature. The results stated above were recorded at a raw water temperature of 23 °C. If the raw water temperature decreases below 23 °C, the membrane flow rate will decrease proportionately.
• KNL Sediment candle (Pore size 5 micron absolute): captures clay, silt, sand, loose scale and other impurities. The filter made from polypropylene and fine sediment cloths, first layer polypropylene & upper layer fine sediment cloths. The filter properly sealed inside in manner so that the water bound to pass only after proper filtration and then goes to the remaining filters.

• KNL activated post carbon (100% coconut shell) cartridge inbuilt inside in two parts. First half part filled tightly with coconut granules & the other half part inbuilt in UF filter. Therefore the post carbon filter serve the dual purpose of post carbon and UF membrane together. The coconut carbon removes odor, smell & inhibits the bacterial growth and enhances water taste.

Water taste with more TDS may some people feel hard compare to RO water or normal bottle packed water but medically healthy to intake mineral enriched drinking water. Always use new FR 450 with the membrane, partial blocked FR or if used in reverse order the membrane will get damage early/immediately.
• Warranty details - The membrane does not cover any warranty. The performance of the membrane and filters depends on user skill with proper installation, feed water quality, and pump with required working pressure (80-85) PSI. Once put to use cannot be taken back except in case of manufacturing defect.

Product Description

Nano Filtration Membrane (NF Membrane), 100 GPD, TFC, Dry, ISO certified 9001:2015 & BARC licensed product, pore size is 0.001 micron, flux rate around 25 ltrs/hr, rejection rate between 40% to 50% (depends on inlet pressure) and maintains TDS in resultant water between 40% to 50% naturally. The result may vary a little on other factors and water hardness compositions contents. The membrane is suitable for feed water having TDS between 200 ppm to 350 ppm. As per WHO, BIS and EPA, the drinking water TDS between 100 ppm to 300 ppm remain in excellent condition. Water taste heaviness/hardness increases proportionately due to minerals. The water taste will not be like low mineral water or normal bottle packed water due to TDS. After using the membrane, no need to use TDS Adjuster/Controller that allows impurities back in drinking water like arsenic, pesticides, lead, fluoride, bromide etc. Please note water born microbes and virus sizes lies between of 0.27 micron to 5 micron and the membrane pore size is 0.001 micron that ensures 100% elimination of germs/virus, herbicides, pesticides, toxicity, fluoride, cyanide, arsenic etc from drinking water and flushes those impurities through rejected water. KNL sediment filter (5 micron absolute) is made from sediment cloth and polypropylene combinations of two layers; the two ends of wound string have been sealed properly to ensure the elimination of all micro particles. Activated carbon block filter 1000 IV having high absorption rate of pesticide, herbicides, chlorine, harmful impurities and other toxic elements and Activated post carbon that is filled with Coconut shell granules inhibits the bacterial growth and enhances water taste. After installation, please flush 20 ltrs purified water and then check the TDS.
