About this item

• Stage 1 - Spun filter 130 gsm (5 microns) made of 100% PP material (no paper mixed) is used to capture the sediment, visible particle, sand, color etc from raw water and the supplied to sediment filter (used inside machine). Antiscallant balls in spun filter hole need to fill that prevents early clogging of inline filters and membrane. The prefilter housing must be of good quality else may lead to early damage of sediment filter (2nd stage)
• Stage 2 - Sediment candle (Pore size 5 micron absolute): captures clay, silt, sand, loose scale and other impurities. The filter made from polypropylene and fine sediment cloths, first layer polypropylene (polypropylene is resistant to bacteria) & upper layer fine sediment cloths. The filter properly sealed inside in manner so that the water bound to pass only after proper filtration and then goes to the remaining filters. Service life 10000 ltrs subject to proper functioning of prefilter.
• Stage 3 - Activated Block carbon (1000 IV) also known as Pre Carbon - having high absorption rate of herbicides, toxicity, pesticides, chlorine and other impurities. Activated carbon is made on high temperature by passing esteem & then converted to block filter. The cartridge will not release black water initially like other normal filter. The filters absorbs chlorine & supplies chlorine free water to membrane and thus the membrane service life increases. Service life 10000 ltrs.
• Stage 4 - ISO 9001:2015 certified & BARC licensed nanofiltration TFC dry NF 70 Membrane 100 gpd, retains essential minerals in drinking water, reduces TDS 75% ( ± 5)%, and maintain TDS in drinking water around 25% (( ± 5)%. Service life around 15,000 ltrs, gives around 27 ltrs water per hour.
• Stage 5 - Activated post carbon (100% coconut shell) cartridge inbuilt inside in two parts. First half part filled tightly with coconut activated carbon granules & the other half part inbuilt in UF filter. Therefore the post carbon filter serves the dual purpose of post carbon and UF membrane together. The coconut carbon removes odor, smell & inhibits the bacterial growth and enhances water taste. Service life 10000 ltrs.
• The water taste varies with minerals contents and therefore user may experience hard water taste while drinking with more TDS water. The membrane eliminates all the impurities like fluoride, bromide, arsenic, germs, bacteria, virus, chlorine, cyanide, pesticides, herbicides etc. from drinking water and flushes them through rejected water. Always use new FR 450 with the membrane, partial blocked FR may lead unsatisfactory result.
• Service life is around 15000 ltrs or 18 months whichever is earlier (subject to use with good quality prefilter and with good pp spun 130 gsm or 150 gsm, antiscallant balls 10 pcs in spun centre, sediment & activated carbon block carbon).
• Contaminants molecule size remain greater than 0.01 microns, germs size from 0.027 microns to 5 microns, water molecule size is 0.000283 microns, dissolve compositions of mineral molecule size remain less than 0.0009 microns, but all NF Membrane pore sizes are 0.0015, 0.0010, 0.0005, 0.0004, 0.0002 microns & RO membrane pore size is 0.0001 microns, therefore the NF Membrane & Ro membrane does the job far better than the UV and TDS controller system.
• Installation guidelines: 1st discard 2-3 ltr water through sediment and block carbon then connect membrane without using FR and then again discard 3-5 ltr water. By doing this, the loose particles if any would flush out and then install FR. Make sure the membrane housing is clean else loose particles led to blockage of FR. The membrane need to flush for 20 minutes and then check the result. The TDS will come down and the result will be as per descriptions.
• Warranty details - The membrane does not cover any warranty. The performance of the membrane and filters depends on user skill with proper installation, feed water quality, and pump with required working pressure (80-85) PSI. Once put to use cannot be taken back except in case of manufacturing defect.

User are requested to check the TDS of your tap water first and then select right model of the membrane or service kit as per your requirement. Water taste mainly depends on TDS, with more TDS water taste hardness increases. The RO water user who are used to consume low TDS drinking water may experience water taste difference a little but the taste will get develop within couple of week time. The objective of the water purifier to get healthy drinking water (means should have essential minerals {balanced TDS in drinking water) and the drinking water should be free from germs and other impurities. Through NF membranes (any variant) and RO membrane, impurities and germs cannot pass.
