• 1)Sal wood - Is highly durable and very strong. It is also heavier and tougher than teak and is resistant to fungi, water and termites. 2) Foam Density - 40 density foam is firm in the start and does soften but over time. When you first purchase a couch you will notice how much firmer it tends to be. After a few months, the couch typically softens up.hence a couch is too soft, it starts to crater where people sit because the foam is no longer expanding like it used to from years of use.
